Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist who is known for his unique style. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on 22 April in 1990 to an German as well as an English Scottish family. When he was a kid Baker spent a large amount of time travelling with his parents, who were missionaries. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed and Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Following that Baker and his dad moved to Denver in the area where they stayed together with his father's aunt. Baker was bullied because the poorness of his life by other children. After he was in sixth grade, Baker was able to learn rap. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989, in Texas. He is best known for his hip-hop infused rock and modern alternative. Baker made four mixtapes in the period before signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. The Cleveland rapper, who wrote songs at the speed of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosive rise when, at the end of 2011, Baker made the switch from self-released tracks to well-known labels. It was after that, with each of his albums reaching the top 10 of charts.
